Betula Nigra 'Dickinson'

NDSU release - Upright, oval form. Multi-trunk, adaptable, hardy selection of river birch with serrated green foliage and ivory bark with copper exfoliation for seasonal interest. Improved tolerance to dry, soils and is resistant to borer. Prefers a moist, well-drained soil. Prune only in full-leaf.

Great alternative to the weeping birch and paper birch which suffer a great deal from drought and birch borer. Very unique which cinnamon bark through maturity.
