Thuja occidentalis 'Holmstrup'

Compact, slow growing pyramidal cedar with flattened sprays of bright green foliage. Prefers a moist, well-drained soil. Tolerates light shade and poor drainage. Use for accent or hedge.

performs much better with regular watering during dry periods and mulch around the roots. Can handle clay but will perform best with a layer of top soil.
Will not do well if it is bone dry going into winters.
