Populus balsamifera 'Paskapoo'

Native, dwarf poplar with lateral branching pattern (resists snow-load damage). New red growth and dark green foliage with strong balsam scent. Insect/disease resistant. Drought tolerant - prefers dry soil once established in a moist, but well-drained soil.
