Yucca glauca

Hardy with upright, narrow lance-shaped, pointy grey-green blades with curly threads on the margins. Spikes of greenish-white, bell-shaped blooms in mid-summer. Forms clumps with maturity. Drought tolerant once established in a moist, well-drained soil. Perfect for a very hot, dry spot or for a homeowner who doesn't like to water their plants :) Native to Southern Alberta. Stays evergreen throughout the winter.
